I just made the experience, used the complete message editor, and made sure to un-check the "follow thread" checkbox ; and it still made me re-subscribe to it.


It has never been this annoying on that other board or the one I created for something. Strange.

I'm getting notifications of my own posts so it must be my admin status.

UNcheck the thing about admin messages or whatever.

There may be a general option for the forum, on your admin side, to set the default behavior as "don't send notifications".

I seem to have managed to switch them off.
